On June 30, 2011, in U.S. District Court, Ms. Johnson pleaded guilty to a felony charge of conspiracy to commit witness and evidence tampering in order to obstruct a federal corruption investigation. She was sentenced on December 9, 2011, to serve one year and a day in prison followed by two years of supervised release. In addition, she was ordered to perform 240 hours of community service; pay a $15,000 fine; and foreit $79,600, the amount of cash recovered from her at the time of her arrest.
Ms. Johnson will begin serving her sentence on March 9, 2012 at Alderson Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, West Virginia.
