Born in Baltimore, Maryland, November 19, 1934. Loyola College, B.S., 1956. Served in U.S. Navy, 1956-59. Law clerk to Judge Stewart O. Day, Harford County Circuit Court, 1961-63. University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1963. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1963. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Harford County Bar Association (president, 1984-85).
